We’re excited to have another demo slot at RightsCon this year! We’ll be sharing our work using machine learning to help human rights advocates sift through large document collections to find the “needles in the haystack”. We believe that the application of machine learning to Uwazi-hosted document collections could help litigators find the right legal arguments in the jurisprudence of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, or to find traces of discriminatory sentencing in large collections of court decisions.
- When: Wednesday, March 29 at 2:30 to 3:45 pm
- Where: Demo room (“Clarity” 8th floor), more info
- What: a presentation on Discovering precedent in the case law haystack: Machine learning for human rights with Uwazi
- Who: Friedhelm Weinberg, HURIDOCS Executive Director, and Natalie Widmann, HURIDOCS Machine Learning Specialist, will present our work on this topic.
We hope to see you at this demo to learn more about Uwazi, and the exciting possibilities for applying machine learning to human rights data!
